Stressing out about not gaining weight

People ive struggled with weight since I was young...quick story when was 16 I was 4ft high and weighed next to nothing. I had to have Hormone injections to help me out to grow and put weight on. Now that im 38years old now height is 5ft 7 and weight 10stone im still struggling to put anything on.. im always moving, even at night time my body is raring to go which can cause me trouble to sleep..
im trying to eat more food but the more I eat the more my body wants to move. I dont no if I should see someone about it or just try and keep eating more...even my 16year lad is now heavier than me and he eats next to nothing which is annoying.
my mates at my age are getting slow and boring im still burning energy like a kid..
Dont no what to do.
Im eating around 3500 to 4000kcal mark so its not like I'm eating nothing..
Anyway rant over cheers for reading just had to let it out... any advice is great advice..

Eat higher calorie foods? Full fat dairy. Avocado, nuts, salmon. Those are a few things I can think of off the top of my head that pack a lot of calories into smallish quantities.0
