Hello, this is my first ever post on MFP so bare with me and I apologise if I am writing in the wrong bit.
I have had the app for 8+ years but never posted anything. I am 30 years old, female and 7.5 (ish) years ago I lost 128lbs thanks for calorie counting with MFP and support on Tumblr.
I am a mother of 3 children, two which are SEN.
I am looking for other big losers to be friends with or talk with I am especially interested in anyone who have gone through any skin removal surgeries as I have had one and I am due another this year. In 2015 I had a breast lift with implants as after loosing so much weight I had been obviously left with excess skin on my breasts, the lift helped remove the excess and the implants filled what was needed to be filled.
I am fortunate enough to have next to no excess skin on my tummy area as I carried most of my weight in my thighs. I noticed this is a big thing for a lot of big losers and see a lot more tummy tucks than I do thigh lifts.
In Feb this year I am going for a consultation to have hopefully my last skin removal surgery within 6-8 weeks of the consultation so March/April which will consist of a thigh lift with liposuction. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared as I really am, the scars however aren't something I am at all worried about.
I look forward to hearing from any of you and hearing your stories
Bye
