Desperately needing to lose weight

I am 73 but have always been active and young in mind until recently having health problems .I have chronic back pain due to failing rod placement and recently have heart stents placed .I have become sedentary due to pain and easily short of breath.thus very depressed and gaining weight. I desperately need to lose weight or I feel i'm going to die.I know I can do it but i'm in such a rut,I need help.

    Hi Susan.

    We can certainly help you with the motivation, but have you spoken with your doctor? What do they say? Any suggestions to increase this or decrease that?
