Current maintenance: 2500 cals
As I lift and/or run at least 5 days/week, MFP (and my own calculations) say that I'm not eating enough. I'll probably up it to 2900 as I want to add about 6 lbs of muscle and then drop my BF from 17% to 12/13 %.0 -

Dr has my calorie intake at 1100 calories/day plus 30 min cardio. I found it hard to only eat 1100 calories ( i have to eat sunflower seeds and peanut butter to help lower cholesterol which sadly are high in calories ) so I am getting 60-90 min cardio burning about 600-800 calories a day and then eat 1300-1500 calories
Advice is always welcome0 -

I see several of you in my height range with much lower CW's and GW's and it always makes me wonder if I have an abnormal amount of bone density or something  I weighed over 150 in Highschool and I was a TWIG then, and my shoulders and rib cage GREW in college. I've always been built like a linebacker through the shoulders, oh well....0 -

trying to figure out these maintenance calories. Evidently more than I am at, which is 1700 net.0 -
Whenever I've taken diet "breaks" in the past, it was always roughly around 1600 + exercise cals. Not sure what it'll end up being in about 14 lb when I start transitioning into maintenance but I'll probably do the +100/150 cals to current and keep adding til loss levels off then stops. End goal is to eat as much as possible while I can (which sounds like "duh", but disorded eating/thinking teaches you the opposite, so I'm working on wrapping my brain around it).0

Current Weight/Goal; 112lbs.
Weight when I started; 133lbs.
Current intake - Eating between 1400 and 1600 calories seems to be working for me, i'm still counting most days to keep myself on track for a bit, some days up to 1600 or more and other days can be low, have been maintaining since May so seems to be working for me.0 -
age: 46
weight: 136
Maintain calorie intake 1500 before exercise then 80% or what ever my calorie burn is for that day. If I dont exercise I keep it at 1500.
Everyone is different as you can see. You have to experience it and see where you fall.
Good luck0 -

Monday-Thursday I eat around 1800-1900 calories. I don't count Friday, Saturday or Sunday. According to my body media, my average burn is about 2200 calories. I have no doubt I go over than on the days I don't count.0 -
How many cals did u eat to lose?
Same thing I'm maintaining at. Fat2Fit radio suggests eating at your GW. I think that's a great idea. If you have little to lose like I did (10lbs), I think it's an even better idea. Keeps the deficit small.0
