Mediterranean Diet

Have been doing a lot of reading on different diets to decide what might work for me long term. I see that the Mediterranean Diet seems to fit my lifestyle. I decided between Christmas and New Years that I need to focus on my health... I need to lose about 50 pounds and worry about becoming prediabetic because Diabetes runs in my family. Started Jan. 1...10 days in...and feeling so much better, just because I am eating much cleaner. Looking for recipes that fall into that category, and any feedback you want to share.

pinterest and google can probably help you.
i don't believe in 'diets' though for some they work (but how long can be debated). I eat what I want, as long as it fits in my calorie goals for the day.2 -
I love the principles of the Mediterranean diet. It is based around fresh foods, lots of produce, and lower in saturated fats, higher in healthy fats. I think this is a great way to live for overall health. Just make sure that you are in a calorie deficit!2
