Is there a way to track omega 3 on my fitness pal?

Not that I know of. Omega 3 isn't required on food labels AFAIK, so most database entries would be lacking that information anyway.
You can track polyunsaturated fats as a category (if you can find entries with that field completed), but that would include omega 6 and 9 as well.

Unless you eat fish twice a week or a ton of flaxseeds everyday, you probably don't get enough. Best to take a supplement. It's like trying to track vitamin D, no one really gets enough through diet or sunlight so just supplement. The thing with omega-3 is its ratio between omega-6 should be between 1:1 and 1:4. A lot of food sources of omega-3 are also high in omega-6. Lower the omega-6 in your diet and take an omega-3 supplement with DHA and EPA. Flaxseeds and chia seeds have a good omega-3 to omega-6 ratio but it's in ALA form which is only converted to EPA and DHA in small amounts. I take an omega-3 supplement in the form of algae oil which is what the fish eat.
