Adding a Photo to Newsfeed

Hi all, can anyone answer my query as to how to add a photo to my daily newsfeed? For example, I want to share a picture of something I cooked but don't see anyway to add it. I use IOS and Windows 10 on a PC. Cheers all:)

You can only add photos to the newsfeed with the mobile app.

I have an Apple iPhone 11, but can't seem to work out where/how I add

Click on the plus sign at the bottom, click status. When the box pops up to type in - at the bottom of that box it says something to the effect of “add a progress photo”. Click on that - then it will take you to a new box that links to your photos and you can choose one and then add your text. You have to click “add a progress photo” BEFORE you type text in the status box, or you won’t get the option.
