Difficult to eat enough is that an issue

Hello
I've struggled for many years with my weight. And with a serious foot problem exercise is an issue. But I have started swimming and I feel great. I love this app but it constantly tells me that I am not eating enough. I don't understand. That's all I want to eat. Do I have to eat more to loose weight?

You don't need to eat more to lose weight, you need to eat more to lose weight healthily. Regularly eating under 1000 calories (since you're getting warnings from MFP) is not healthy. You risk losing muscle mass (your heart is a muscle!), brittle nails, hair loss, fatigue,...
Have you radically changed what foods you are eating? Just the simple fact that you have weight to lose implies that you have no problems eating enough or even too much. So in all likelihood you've excluded all sorts of foods from your diet and replaced them with higher volume lower calorie foods. Adding more calories is easy: add higer calorie lower volume foods to your meals (oils, nuts, high fat dairy) and/or add meal times.
What stats and weight loss settings have you entered in MFP? That information will help us give you more specific advice.1 -

You should be netting at least 1200 calories per day (assuming you're female. 1500 if you're male).
That being said, how are you tracking your calories? Are you just eyeballing your portions? Get a food scale, weigh and log everything that you eat. Make sure you are counting liquid calories. If, after doing that, you are still under 1200 calories net (that means eating back some exercise calories), then start adding in some higher calorie foods like full-fat dairy, peanut butter, etc.0
