    Hi, and welcome! I'm not in metro Detroit (over in greater Lansing area), so probably not a meet-up candidate, and I think I'm not in your demographic (F, age 65 😉, so basically your granny), but I did have a fun bike ride at Kensington metropark when I was there for an outdoor meeting in the Fall. Lots of fun things to do in the Detroit area, but I make it there only rarely.

    Do you have specific goals for using MFP, besides finding local workout buddies? The Community is a pretty friendly place, in general.
