The hardest part of eating alkaline is finding foods, any suggestions? All I have near me in Arizona is Sprouts, Safeway, Kroger and Walmart

Not an expert, but isn't the diet just eating most fruits and vegetables, seeds/nuts, and legumes, including soy? Any grocery store should be able to handle that.
(While I'm not sure what your goal is for eating this way, there's little evidence that the alkaline diet will do anything specific to help individuals).4 -
Alkaline for pink hydrangeas.5

An "alkaline diet" is pretty much fruits and veg and nuts...but your diet isn't going to change your body's PH, that's just a bunch of hooey. Your body regulates that on it's own regardless of what you're eating. There is a very narrow range of PH variance...too far either way and you die...your body regulates a PH of roughly 7.34-7.38 all on its own.
Fruits and veg are good for you though.6 -
There's not really an alkaline diet that does anything to your body. Like cwolfman said: your body does regulate your blood pH. As someone who tends to get actual acidoses due to a medical condition let me tell you: if your body would become too acidic you'd likely end up in hospital. If it's a metabolic acidosis you'd hyperventilate, which is your body's way to venting off CO2 in order to increase pH. If it's a respiratory acidosis you'd pee your soul out to reduce acidic ions in order to increase blood pH. If you think you might have any of these conditions then go to your doctor immediately, or even better to the ER. Btw, too alkaline blood is equally bad for you. Don't try to mess with these things. Not that food or supplements would be able to do that (well, you could, theoretically, but I don't see anyone doing this even accidentally, and it would be stupid)5

"Akaline Diets" are bogus. As mentioned above, you DO NOT change the pH balance of your body just because you eat acidic foods. Here's some info: the hydrochloric acid in your stomach is more acidic than anything you consume.
So don't fall for the gimmicky "gurus" who sell you that crap.
