I am soo excited I wanted to share my huge NSV!!!

Today I walked 6.50 miles. That amounts to doing more than a 10K. Ok, so I wasn't running, but I was walking ( I ran for 4 minutes at 3MPH yah me)!

Also, I wanted to share this because I am hoping it gives other encouragement - especially you folks with 100+ pounds to lose like me!

This is huge for me because, 2 months ago I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing. Basically I didn't move - and if you tried to get me to move I would threaten you with bodily harm.

I am looking into participating in a 5K walk/run by the end of the year. OMG!!!!!! seriously I think I just might do it.
Holy cr@p.

 You can read my other post on my walking 10,000 steps a day (scroll to the bottom of the page)

Well done on completing 10K. I recently ran my first 5K with 100lbs still left to lose. It's a massive NSV, especially if like me you're not much of a fitness fan. Wish you every success in completing your 5K.
