I've searched everywhere and can't find a suitable answer so I've posted (sorry if it's a repeat)
My diary is open
When i started 105 days ago I set my activity level as sedentary as I'm a stay at home mum and really wasn't that active, I then ate to the suggested calories, used MFP to estimate exercise and went from there.
In the 105 days since I now have an exercise routine where I workout 1-2 hours a day with 1 rest day, I eat fairly well I think but you can judge that yourself
Am I eating enough since I don't eat all of the exercise calories back or do i need to alter my profile to an active or fairly active rather than sedentary?
I'm not really sure which way to go now as I'm a different person from when i started
My calorie burn is accurate I have a hrm with chest strap and a fitbit so it is closely monitored and i weigh all food and measure liquids.

I really am not an expert on this but personally I think you need to change your profile from sedentary to the next level up. In fact having seen what my wife went through as a stay at home mum I would question whether sedentary was ever actually accurate in the first place.
I am guessing that you don't spend all of your time sat in front of the tv but are running around after your children, washing & cleaning etc.
The example given for sedentary is "desk job" so would suggest being sat down all day
Hope that helps but am sure others will confirm or counter this lol0 -
Are you losing weight still is my question? If you're losing weight still then keep doing what you are doing.
If you're stalled out, then yes update your profile.0 -
From what I have seen on MFP and all the "advice from experts" I have come to one undeniable truth. every body is different. I can only say what I do, I do what works for me.
I agree with coppertop_4, If whatever you are doing works - then by all means keep doing it.0 -
i was losing but have stalled since reaching the 42lb loss mark so not sure where to go with it now0
