You first need to know what your body burns on a normal day(TDEE). MFP offers many tools to help get you started. There are others online. Everyone is different so getting an accurate estimate can sometimes be a challenge.
That is very do-able if you have a fair bit to lose, but pretty aggressive if you don't.
Losing 10 lbs would equate to 35,000 calories. So for the next month you would need to come up with a plan that has you reducing and/or burning those calories to achieve that goal. (reduce your intake/expenditure by about 1100cals per day)

How much do you have to lose? Ten pounds a month is roughly two pounds a week, and that's typically an over-aggressive target. Don't set yourself up for failure; set yourself up for success! It's advised not to try to lose more than 1% of your body mass per week. So depending on how much you have to lose, ten pounds a month might be difficult but possible, or it might be foolhardy.
To find out how many calories you burn, you can use the MFP goal setting tool. It will give you a target. If you decide to set it for two pounds a week, be sure to always eat at least as much as your target because you should not add any additional deficit beyond that.
A good online tool to figure out how many calories your body uses and how much you should target is sailrabbit. Visit https://www.sailrabbit.com/bmr/.

Well unless you're well into the 200+ range, cutting of a limb works. Or you could dehydrate yourself. The goal of losing 10lbs in a month is VERY AGGRESSIVE and touted by many fad diets or products. And unless you're really in shape and smaller, a normal overweight person with a 10lbs loss may not be noticeable to others.

Great advice from @mtaratoot and a little tough love from @ninerbuff
Agree. It’s so tempting to hurl yourself aggressively into quick weight loss, but it’s like physics. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction and the reaction to aggressive cutting is typically binging and quitting.
Make this a sustainable process. Start slower and kinder and make it something you can do for the rest of your life.
There’s no hurry.

What's the hurry? Think long term, not immediate.1

Have you been through the guided goal setup because that's where you get your personailsed goals from.
No-one but you has a clue about your current situation, you could be 5' tall and weigh 110lbs or you could be 6'6" and weigh 400lbs. There's no context for you to get any advice so please come back to the thread and give some background details.3
