My theory is that he chased down the primordial cow and killed it to eat.
Then, he came to the utter full of milk and wondered if he could find another cow with it as well...and figured out that you didn't have to kill the cow to get milk every day.2 -
Or maybe he saw the calf suckling and tried it for himself. 🤔1

Or what about the guy who distinguishes poisonous from non-poisonous mushrooms? I mean, easy really, but how many people you have to kill before you've got answers?2

Why was it a guy? 🤷🏿♀️
I think it was a natural thought process seeing as human babies suckle milk from their mothers.
What if it was a mother who couldn't produce milk and in a desperate effort to feed her child, she lay her baby down in a patch of grass, then figured out how to coax the cow to stay still while she milked it?
She tasted it first, compared it to what she remembered her milk tasted like, then decided thst it would have to do.
Voila, a child's life saved. And an exploitative industry was expanded. The end.
You'll have to excuse me as I've been writing all week so I'm super deep in my imagination 😂6 -
Anyone googling the first person ever to realize you can drink cow's milk so you can save me the bother?1

Hmm... I don't know but I bet he did alot of other weird stuff too 🤷♀️2

You're right. I admit it. I'm a very sad human being.4 -
and then, it took hundreds of years for some people's body to actually develop tolerance for the lactose in the milk that was keeping them alive albeit gassy and crampy.2

That’s a bit deep ,but the one who said maybe they saw a mummy cow feeding a baby cow is that how everything was discovered because at that rate would we not be drinking milk from a lot of other mammals ?0

We do but also cows are probably the easiest to obtain and have the most milk. Who’s gonna go around catching and milking a bunch of squirrels? 😉2 -

I agree.
Why would anyone use google when you can simply drive downtown & visit your local public library ?

But it kept them alive and then, you know what they did next? They discovered cheese! I don't know who he or she was but we owe them a depth of gratitude for the discovery how to make cheese.0
