Fitbit and my fitnesspal issue

I just got a new phone and I can not get my fitbit to communicate with myfitnesspal. Anybody know how to trouble shoot this?

    If my understanding is correct, you are not syncing your phone to MFP at all. The connection should be your Fitbit to your phone and then your Fitbit account to MFP. Are you seeing your Fitbit connect to your phone (the Fitbit app on your phone)?

    The fitbit is connected and fitbit app is working fine but normally my steps show in MFP too.
