Heart rate monitor?

I am looking for a chest strap type heart rate monitor but I need one that keeps instant heart rate and can be viewed on my phone as opposed to a watch. Does anyone know of one that meet these needs? Any help would be much appreciated

    take a look at the Polar H10 or Garmin HRM-Dual.
    Both companies provide an app for your phone.

    I have a myzone heart rate monitor which is a chest strap and viewable on phone. It also pairs with my Garmin fenix 5s so I can see it on my watch as well so the best of both worlds.

    I had the myzone before buying the Garmin otherwise I'd probably have purchased a Garming HR monitor.

    I use the Wahoo TICKR and am very pleased with it.
    Very reliable, connects easily to various devices and no weird and wonderful readings (unlike my previous Garmin strap!).

    You can download the Wahoo app to your phone for an instant readout.

    I have a base-model Wahoo TICKR as well that has lasted for years. I have changed the battery many times and replaced the strap once, but the unit itself just keeps going. Works well with phone apps. Love it!

    (BTW, people don't seem to like the TICKRx as much, for some reason.)
