Mindfulness

My daughter just introduced me to mindful eating. To pay attention to your bodies hunger and be mindful of nutritious choices. Don’t be guilty about eating be mindfully exuberant about the food that will increase metabolism and elevate your mood! I am lovin it!

    Exuberant food for me was chocolate.

    I don’t dare go there again. Glad this works for you, but for many of us, CICO is the way.

    mindful eating got me up to 300 pounds. counting calories,and fitting all of the things I love into those calories, resulted in a 130 pound weight loss.

    but if it works for you, go for it!

    Gotta know your own mind. For a science nerd/geek like me, calorie counting *is* mindfulness.

    When I useta let the inner hedonist drive, things didn't work out too well, scale-wise.

    Mindful eating is the only way I've ever been able to lose massive amounts of weight. If I go strictly by CICO, I tend to become too obsessed and that's not mentally any better for me than the binge eating I also tend to do. Glad you've found your "way"!!
