    You can eat anything you like within your calorie target. Did you do the guided set-up on this site and get a calorie target? If you did, and you chose 2 pounds (or 1 kg) per week to lose, go back and change it to 1 lb (or 0.5 kg). That will give you more calories to work with.

    Also, did you choose sedentary for your activity? If you get at least 3000 steps per day, go change that to lightly active. If you get 8000 steps per day, change it to active. That will also afford you more calories.

    Third, you are supposed to log your intentional exercise and eat back those calories on top of what MFP assigns. Maybe start by eating 50%, because exercise calories estimates can be inflated.

    Lastly, People find different things satiating. Some find they stay full longer if they have sufficient protein. For some people it’s fiber, or fats. You’ll have to experiment to see what works for you.
