Hi my name is Diane and I’m new to all this fitness stuff I’m trying to eat right but really am lost.
My aim is to hopefully be 20 kgs lighter for my sons wedding in August this year.
So if anyone can help me I really need lots of advice and ideas please.😀

Hi, Diane. Welcome to MFP and congrats to your son and family on the upcoming wedding!
Since you are new here, go into the Goals tab, and enter your data to come up with a daily calorie goal.
This goal does not calculate in exercise, other than your regular daily sedentary/active/very active choice. Most suggest eating back half your exercise calories.
(Be careful if using calorie counts from gym or electronic machines. They are often double or more the actual burn. I mean, their goal is to make you think you’re killin’ it, right? )
You’ll find lots of useful information here in the forums. If you have a question, start a new tread, join an existing one, or use the search function to find what you need.
There’s some wonderful posters here and everyone is very supportive. We want us to lose weight!
