MFP counts less exercise calories than fitness tracker

MFP always counts less exercise calories than my Garmin Vivofit 3. Does anyone else find thid with your fitness tracker of what ever brand. Just curious.

Yes, always. By about 40 calories or so (Garmin Vivosmart3). No idea why. Doesn't bug me too much.0

You know, I never checked in detail before. Now I have a new thing to obsess over! Thanks @Thelinbc for pointing it out.
It looks like Garmin has a different base plan than MFP. Garmin us using 1500kcals for my baseline TDEE whereas MFP is using 1057. It removes the 57 calories from the exercise allotment. The totals are the same.0 -
Ya'll are right. My MFP plan is actually 1500kcals as well. The 57kcal difference is a mystery.
(It just so happens that MFP says I have 57kcals of activity so far today, which threw me off and which is a little suspicious.)0
