Question re/ weight tracking day?

Do you eat something especially light on the day before weighing yourself? Like my weigh-in day is Friday, so for Thursday supper I usually eat a plain chicken breast, baked potato and vegetables. I think it's turned into a Thing, like guys not shaving during hockey playoffs, like a superstition. LOL Even though I know that I normally stay on track with my calories.

Haha. I do - although I know it makes no difference since I weigh myself every morning. Since I know weekends are my weakness and when/if I join a challenge - Mondays are my weekly weigh-in reporting day. The accountability of weighing in on Monday helps me stay on track from Friday to Sunday.1

No. I weigh myself every day, and am used to random fluctuations. They're normal.
A weigh in is just one moment's snapshot of my body's relationship to gravity, not a yardstick of my value or success as a human. I figure I don't even have a "true weight", just a current range of weights, and a longer term trend (multi-week to multi-month).
It's the longer term trend that tells me whether I'm losing, maintaining or gaining: If my weight range gradually ambles bumpily downward over many weeks, I'm losing. I can't get sucked into irrelevant short-run changes: Too much drama, waste of energy, IMO.
I know that's not true for everyone, but that's how it seems to me, for me.5 -
no. like ann, i weigh myself daily. i just log it on mfp once a week. its the overall trend that matters, not one specific day (that can be up or down for any variety of reasons, many not within our control)0

I weigh daily and log that into Happy Scale. I've had various determinations for when to log in MFP. I'll probably start doing that monthly, like after I ovulate or after my period. (I have big hormonal water weight swings.) Or both, so twice per month.2

gah! me too! and then I will show a crazy loss on the scale and everyone is like WHOA! in one week!?
no. my body hoards water. it just finally let go of it LMAO1 -
I weight every 2 days before I eat0

I also weigh daily and track it on Libra. When I entered my weight into MFP, I would just enter new lows whenever they happened. I haven't updated my weight on MFP since hitting my goal (even though I weigh 4 pounds less now).0
