Questions about food scale and recipes

Hello,
I had a couple of questions:
1. Is there a food scale that integrates with MyfitnessPal. All I want is for it to just log the weights to MyfitnessPal, so that I can then go enter the actual ingredient. Many times I weight something and then when it comes time to log I forget what the actual weight was.
2. I create recipes and recipes only allow you to enter the no. of servings and the total no. of calories (for eg. 8 servings of 250 cal each). Is there any way to enter the total weight of the recipe so that when I eat that meal I can just enter the weight and MyfitnessPal calculates the calories.

    1. I'm not aware of a food scale with that functionality, but I do keep a pad of paper and a pen right next to my scale and write down weights as I measure out my ingredients. I'll also note down the total weight of a finished recipe, then just copy over what I wrote down into the recipe builder. I find the recipe builder to be easier to use on the desktop site vs the mobile app.
    2. You can set the number of servings in a recipe equal to the number of grams that the finished dish weighs, as if you're saying the serving size is 1 gram, and log it that way. For example, I meal-prepped a batch of 1250g mashed potatoes today. I put the recipe in MFP as having 1250 servings, named it "mashed potatoes per g" to remind myself that I did this, and logged the 100g that I portioned out for each of my lunches as 100 servings of mashed potatoes. It looks a little weird at first but the math checks out.

Edit to add: to your second point, it sounds like you're adding foods to the database, not using the recipe builder, as for that you just tell it how many servings there are and MFP does calculate the calories by adding up the caloric values of all the ingredients and dividing that by the number of servings you tell it. On the desktop site, you can access the recipe builder by going to Food > Recipes; on the mobile app, Recipes, Meals, & Foods are all grouped together. Recipes are "ingredients divided by servings equals calories," meals is "I ate the same thing today as I did yesterday," foods are "this item I want to log is not in the database yet" or "this is my go-to Chipotle order."

For point nr 2: log the weight of the dish as the number of servings. A portion of 200gr can then be added to your diary as 200 servings.
