Seriously though I’ve blown up to 113kg in a year from 90. Any advice with improving energy levels welcome.
Thanks.

Have you researched Intermittent fasting? While i do not have a thyroid issue I do have age working against me (i am 48). I have been intermittent fasting (leangains 16:8 method) for 6 weeks now and that combined with tracking macros on MFP have proven very successful for me so far. For years I have been unable to take of 25-30 lbs of extra weight and since Jan 4th I've lost 9 lbs, not huge but safe and steady.

I have heard fasting can be successful for under active thyroid but you may need to do some research!

I don’t have underactive thyroid, and I don’t follow intermittent fasting. It may work for some, but others-like me- need a steady drip feed of food. It’s all about CICO (calories in calories out). Scheduling the CICO is a simple matter of personal preference. You don’t burn any faster spacing calories out versus clustering them.

I am a hella lot older than you, and have successfully lost 40+% of my body weight in the past two or so years with simple, honest, accurately calculated CICO and exercise.

Speaking from personal experience, my energy level increased massively with every ten pounds lost, til I’ve reached the happy point I have to force myself to sit still.

To put it bluntly, my body is a heck of a lot more energetic now that I’m not carrying the equivalent of a couple bags of landscape rocks from Home Depot around with it all the time. Can you blame it?
