Ready to try again

The past two years have been kind of rough for me. I lost my daughter two years ago and then of course covid-19 hit last year, work has been a nightmare and I've been using food to cope with the stress. This is been my pattern throughout my life. About 10 years ago I hit my goal weight and kept it off for a while., but it gradually crept up 15 pounds especially in the last two years. I am using the season of Lent to Jumpstart my healthy habits by giving up sugar and praying for strength. It is so hard when you are over 60, but I know not impossible. I also have a wonderful reason, as my bf of 6 years proposed on Valentines Day and we are getting married in May. I could use a friend or two for support.

Hi there! I am also ready to try again. Great idea using Lent as a jump start. I think I'll do that too. Congratulations on the engagement.0
