Hey all, I'm not new to MFP but I am new to the forums lol
I'm from California, mom to a 4 year old and almost 5 month old. hoping I can finally hit and stick to my goal!
SW: 215
CW: 178 (as of December π)
GW: 150
How do you stay motivated? Also.. Any yummy breakfast ideas? Lately I've been eating oatmeal or 1 egg, 2 tortillas, 1/3 avocado, and 1/2tbsp of salsa. Sometimes .5oz of cheese too π I need better ideas. Especially savory over sweet

Motivation is a powerful tool but don't rely on it too much.
A great thing to get you started but after that use it carefully as it's a limited resource.
e.g. being motivated when do you food shopping to make wise choices works, trying to be motivated every day to resist temptation - hmmm, skeptical that will last.
Discipline and habits though, very different and they become more important to enable you to maintain in your goal weight range long term.
What is your motivation that got you started?
To do with your children perhaps? To be a great role model for your children is a life-long goal.0 -
I donβt stay motivated. I build habits. Habits that carry me through when motivation wanes.0
