Silly Ways to Get Back Into The Green Zone

Last night, I was -74 in the red zone. I didn’t want to complete my diary with it so I walked in circles in my driveway for ten minutes to get back into the green zone! My neighbors must have thought I was a crazy person! What are some things that you guys have done to get back in the green?

    If I'm over for the day, I resolve to do better tomorrow and move on with my life. I find that doing things like you describe gets me into a very bad, obsessive headspace and it doesn't serve my goals to allow myself to get like that. If it works for you and you can do something like walk in circles to burn 75 calories without slipping into ED brain territory, by all means, walk those driveway laps.

    I've come home from a long work day, eaten dinner, then done an hour on my bike trainer while watching TV. It's very relaxing and I actually sleep well afterward. (More relaxing than booze, for example.)

    Rebounder for the win! Put the telly on and just jog/jump/walk to your heart's content! Got through Valentine's day pig out that way...! I also put food on to another day if I've got spare anywhere... the body doesn't care if it's calories come one day or 3 days ago, so long as there's a deficiency overall...

    I personally wish they would just do away with the whole color thing...it makes people do silly things for no reason. I don't log anymore and haven't for a long time...but when I did I just ignored the stupid color thing. If I go over a bit, I'm still in a deficit...no need to make it red. If they're going to do that, they should make it red only if you're going over maintenance...even then, tomorrow is another day so I just move on. I don't do unscheduled exercise or try to compensate on some other day...I just move on.
