Friend requests....???

So i am not new really as i have had an account for a while and took a break (fell off the wagon) but really want to get started again. Anyway, just recently i have had lots of 'friend requests' from people with very erm... revealing profile pictures! Am i missing something? Is this a thing now or am i being spammed? I'm no way a prude but really weren't expecting to be greeted with that when you get a friend request on MFP haha!
Honestly i don't think there is anything dodgy about the my profile that would attract that sort of attention!

They're not real people. They're Russian spam-bots. Decline and block them without guilt, and report the usernames in the thread linked above.2

How do you delete friends? I realize I may have accepted some unscrupulous ones, I need to look more carefully at these requests.0
