So here it goes
Ive been on and off again with this app since 2013. I am sticking to my guns this time I plan on being down to 190lbs fit and healthy for 2022- that could be January, July, December, as long as I reach that goal. Here's my story in a nut shell why I am going after this journey.
As all 2020 was a horrible year for all of us. Mine started on February 12th at 1130pm. All of my 42 years I only spent time in the hospital when I was born. I was admitted to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack. All night I was in severe pain trouble breathing the heat my body was producing was ridiculous. Find out I am suffering from pancreatitis, caused by excess bile stones produced by my gall bladder. After a coma, time on a ventilator and my gall bladder removed 20 days later I was home. Which was good timing because the hospitals went into full lockdown and I think the outcome would have been totally different. The bright side of my stay in the hospital - I lost close to 50lbs which I was feeling great. Downfall I gained most of it back as I got back into old habits.
So as I spent time reflecting over the last year yes COVID bad but my pancreatitis was so bad it could have been worse ie removal of my pancreas or even death. The professionals in the CCTU don't need to see me again, I was given a second chance and a good jump start, so over the next year, I am going to take advantage of it. I am also starting a 75 Hard challenge with a few friends of mine and I plan on getting through every single day - and no cheating. Life is a race we will never win but we should enjoy it while we are here and always look on the positive side of things. I wish all of you the best on your journeys too.
