    Playing coach today for some friends. 2 for 2 golds for one friend. The other ended up with a silver and a fourth place. Bit too shabby for someone who isn't officially a coach

    I took myself for a little walk with no watch or step counter, no podcast, audiobook, or music. I walked & touched trees and let my mind wander & wondered how long I’d have to walk like that before the inner monologue stfu. But it was so good & I’m feeling a little more centered now.

    Putting together a weight-lifting workout routine for my son to take back to his Army base with him, I started going through my old lifting logs. One page featured, very prominently, a new one-rep-max lift on bench press, underlined and circled because it was a big deal at the time.

    Realized I just lifted that same weight repeatedly during today's workout like it was no big deal.
