I have reached my goal weight. I have been successfully maintaining for the most part, but this week i gained 2 pounds, the most I have gained since losing... Question: do I reduce my calories until the 2 pounds come off or stay with my maintain number of calories and be really disciplined until they come off? Not sure if changing the number of calories is healthy? I eat 1300 a day. my weight loss number was 1200... any advice is welcome.

A 2lb fluctuations in one week is not necessarily true weight gain: it could be a fluctuation in water retention (hormones, exercise, sodium,...) or food waste in your system. To gain 2 lbs of fat, you would need to eat 7000 calories over maintenance, 1000 calories over maintenance per day. Which is unlikely since you only eat 1300 calories.
You need to look at your weight trend over a longer period of time (for example a month) to determine if you are truly gaining weight.1 -
Thank you very much...
