Weight loss Strungles

I have been focusing on my diet and workout for the last 3 months lost about 20 lbs so far. I am almost half way to where I want to be! However, I find the last few weeks I have really slow down on the lost! Usually it slow downs before and during my period but now it is lingering longer! I trie to stay around 1300-1400 calories a day and daily 20-30 minutes walk/excercies! But I am always under the impression I am doing something wrong.

Weight loss isn't linear. As you get closer to GW, you should slow down. Your TDEE goes down by about 5 calories per every pound lost, so if you're still eating the same amount as you were 20 lbs ago, you're now in a slightly smaller deficit than before (smaller by about 100 calories). Since you have so little to lose, and it sounds like you've been losing pretty aggressively thus far (20 lbs in 12 weeks is 1.6 lbs per week on average, that's a lot for someone with only 40-50lbs to lose), maybe you should reconfigure your goals either on here or in your head and aim to lose 0.5-1lb per week going forward.

20 lbs in 3 months is great. They say most people should average around 1-2 pounds a week. And I have found in my experience if I lost more than that it was water weight and it would come back sooner or later. Most of the time for me sooner. I just reached my goal weight in the last week. I started at 227 pounds and now am at 127. It took me from May 2018 till now. But last February I weighted 139.2 pounds it took me a whole year to take off those last 12.2 pounds. And some weeks I only lost .25 oz and some weeks nothing. The key I have found in my own personal experience is sticking to it and consistency. I don't think your doing anything wrong from what you described above. Hang in there it will happen. Below are my befores and afters
