New to MFP but not to losing

I just discovered MFP and like what I see so far. So much information, support and potential for continuing my weight loss. I started in April 2013 at 228 - today I am 192.8. My two keys for success thus far are walking every day (goal is 25 miles per week) and my food diary. The tools for recording on this site are terrific because there is already so much in the database. The only thing I wish I could do is enter my starting weight and weekly weight loss going back to April but that's okay, I can adjust.

I'm 55 and have struggled all my life with gaining and losing. So many life events have contributed to my gains and losses. At this point, I am committed to getting back to my comfortable weight of 145-150 and then I will have to keep motivated to maintain. Will cross that bridge ...

So many of you have your own stories and I've been super encouraged to read about you. Thanks for allowing me into this common goal we share of getting healthy!

Cindy

Welcome of mfp Cindy!! Congrats on your weight loss so far!!
  • Hey, Cindy! Welcome to MFP! If you want to enter your previous weight loss, you can do it in the "Check In". Down at the bottom it has a way to enter weights from previous dates. Best wishes and congrats on your success to date!
