Brisket Advice

This has little to do with weight loss and a lot to do with feeding my extended family! I have a 9 lb. brisket that I want to make into sandwiches. The problem is my BBQ is too small for this chunk of meat. It also won't fit into a slow cooker (I refuse to use a slow cooker anyway). So I'm looking at roasting in the oven at a low temp. over night????
Anyway have any advice or experience to share. The vast majority of recipes I'm finding refer to slow cookers or BBQ. There won't be a second brisket if I mess up the first!

i make this but only about 4 lbs, cook in the oven for 3 hrs. Add beef broth half the height of the meat , for 9 lbs i would cook longer until it is fork tender. let it sit over night it is easy to cut when it is cold.0

I don't think you would need to do it overnight. Just put some good dry rub on it and throw it in the oven with the fat side up for 3-5 hours at about 300 F. Just make sure the pan your are using has sides, as brisket's will produce some juice, either that or use an oven bag.0

Thanks!!
I have a very large roasting pan that might hold this, so I'll use that in instead of a baking sheet.0
