Personal trainer question?

I’m thinking of joining a gym, the Anytime Fitness near me has excellent reviews and is in my price range. If I were to start with a trainer, how often do you typically meet with them? I’ve never done this, but I’m hitting a plateau and need support. I’m just trying to see how I can fit everything in (work, family time, gym). I can workout anytime, but I’m not sure how to fit in time with a trainer.

Once a week would be the norm0

Once or twice. But MAKE SURE the trainer is fully certified. What organization are they certified through? How long are your sessions? Does he have any references?

Are you hitting a fitness plateau or a fat loss plateau?
If it is fat loss keep in mind that most trainers are not registered dietitians and often are not even allowed to give weight loss advise, except for very generalized.
Use the trainer for fitness and a registered dietitian for nutrition and fat loss.
Do take ninerbuff’s advice above and check credentials.
