Gaining weight with insanity? !

Hi everyone! Im on my second week of insanity and this week I've gained two pounds! I use a hrm so im sure my expended calories are correct and im not overeating! I'm even managing to do some of my short runs as well as insanity on the days it's not crippled me! I have noticed my muscles are quite sore so am wondering whether they're maybe holding water? I haven't got much weigh to lose so it is hard for me I was hoping insanity would help not hinder! Anyone else had any experiences? ! Thanks in advance! :-)

I gained 5lbs the first couple of weeks and then by the end I was up 2lbs but i had lost a noticeable amount of bodyfat! Scales don't matter, go with your reflection in the mirror!

Honestly, buy a tape measure... Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, too.. I always measured inches, not lbs because a 140 lb person who is solid muscle is quit a bit smaller than a 140 lb person who isn't in shape... A lot of people do gain weight with Insanity, but you will lose a ton of inches. I'm doing focus t25 right now and I have lost 2 lbs, but I've lost 3 inches from my waist and another girl on my team has only lost 8 lbs, but 10 inches from her waist.. Your weight changes each time you weigh yourself so don't be too hard

Um actually muscle does not weigh more than fat. 1lb of muscle is the same as 1lb of fat.

But you know what she means!!

If you had a hypothetical 2"x2" cube of muscle it would weigh more than a 2"x2" cube of fat....
