For my weight loss periods, i run keto as it satiates me more easily. I enjoy it. The downside is it hurts gym performance but that is a side effect i have to deal with.
Just make sure you add enough salt to meals and focus on carb restriction and eating enough protein. Too many focus on getting fat which isn't the intent. You want to use your bodyfat, not the fat you eat.2
