Bariatric sleeve regain

I had the sleeve in 2008. Lost about 150 lbs. I gained quite a bit back due to a doc saying I couldn't have protein due to kidney disease. But that doc was wrong. I have started adding it back. I have been doing WW for over a year but lately been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs. I workout everyday. I have a lot of issues with snacking and getting water in. I also wondered if anyone could tell me again how many calories, protein and macros we should have lose and then maintain. tia

Given your surgery and kidney disease, I hope you're also getting input from your treatment team. While many people don't need to get input from a doctor before beginning a new plan, I think it would be very important for you.
That said, for general purposes, you can enter your goals and stats into MFP and get a calorie goal, as well as default targets for protein, fat, and carbohydrates. These goals are general and won't be reflecting your specific post-surgery needs or anything related to your particular medical situation, so you will absolutely want to talk to your doctors as well. But the weight loss will be created by a calorie deficit. You can lose weight on a high, moderate, or even low protein diet -- there is no particular macro goal that one needs for weight loss.

I just follow calories in vs. calorie out. Its going to be different for everyone.0
