Tuna Burgers

1 egg white
2 Tbsp non-fat mayonnaise
2 Tbsp creamy mustard-mayonnaise blend
1/4 cup chopped green onions
2 cans (12-1/4 oz) albacore tuna packed in water, drained
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
Prep & Cooking Time: 20 min.
Yield: 4 servings Serving Size: 1.000 patty
Directions:
Combine mayonnaise, mustard, and egg white in a medium bowl and stir well. Add all of the drained tuna and green onions but only half of the bread crumbs and mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 4-inch (10 cm) patty. Coat both sides of the 4 patties with remaining bread crumbs. Coat large skillet with cooking spray over medium heat and add patties. Cook covered for 3 to 4 minutes, then carefully turn patties and continue to cook uncovered for an additional 3 minutes until patties are golden.

This one is different than what I do.
I take tuna or other fish
onion or green onion
egg (of course you can use egg white)
crackers or bread crumbs
spray olive oil
and fry.
Not sure of the calories but I can't imagine they are to bad.

That sounds super yummy! I am going to try it tomorrow.
Healthy bread crumb tip: take whole wheat bread and dry it out in the oven then pulse in the food processor. I use this as a filler for my veegie/meat loaf, coat chicken strips, etc. I like to only eat whole grains so I have trouble eating the store bought (although they are yummy too!)0 -
