Can someone tell me when weighing French fries do I weigh them frozen or after it’s cooked?

I guess I'd ask how you prepare them, too? When I used to buy frozen potato things like that I'd cook them on a sheet in the oven. Is that what you're doing?0

If you're talking about the red Ore Ida bags, serving size is the frozen weight.0

It will usually say on the packet; "as prepared" or "oven cooked" if it is the cooked weight. Some will give both frozen and cooked info.0

I usually weigh them out frozen.1

I usually weigh all frozen veggies while frozen. My logic is is that the ice crystals add to the frozen weight which is released during cooking so the frozen weight will be heavier and I'd rather log it heavy than light0
