Back again

Hi all. I joined myfittnesspal back in 2016 just to record meals but did not continue on as I wasn't deeply committed. In the interim I tried a little TOPS and WW and did manage to bring my weight down over 40 pounds but then the pandemic hit and WW on virtual did not cut it for me; especially their high fees for belonging; so I dropped out. Now I am struggling to even lose the 7-8 pounds I gained during the holidays last year (even though I was housebound due to the co-vid I still managed to bake an eat everything holiday related) Myfitnesspal seemed like the happy go to considering their low cost and user friendly food recording (superior to WW in my estimation) So I am happy to join you and grateful for the assistance of MFP to keep on track.

    Hi Marie, I am also back on MFP since first joining in 2011. I dropped out i2016, and now I am back, also. This time dedicated to be dedicated. I log in everyday to support my Pals. If you want to be pals, please add me...otherwise I can come into Community and say HI! I am in total osteoporosis which is another reason I am back! Exercise, Healthy Eating, and no processed sugar are my immediate goals!! The pandemic allowed my husband to work at home (a blessing after 120 miles of commute roundtrip, and his dream retirement location was Northern Nevada...so we moved early. Love it here. You will do great, as long as you are focused to lose those last 7-8 lbs. My name is Debbie. Have a grrreat day :)
