Automatically Log In

Hey all! Hope you are crushing your goals today! You GOT this and WE got you! I'm new-ish here and wondering if anyone knows how to make the app auto login on an android (If that's even possible). I like that I get a little pat on the back for logging in, but sometimes I forget, so if there is an automatic way to set it to do that, I feel I will really succeed more! Looking forward to hearing from you or just hearing your milestones and health successes and goals.

I’m interested to know what your goals are for joining MFP, if you’re not particularly interested in logging anything on a daily basis?

I show up every day (since Jan 2) to log my meals and exercise, track calories and macros, record my weight, and read the forums. I’m over halfway to my goal (to lose 27lb), and I feel that a lot of that success is down to showing up here every day and being accountable TO MYSELF, and any ‘streak’ that MFP records is just a reflection of that. Hence an automatic ‘log in’ would kind of defeat the point... or is that just me?

you cant do what you want to do. that's not how MFP is designed. the logging streak is a quasi reward for .... logging in every day.

if you just want a pat on the back for having an account.... I'm sure there are places that say how many DAYS you've been a member, regardless of what kind of EFFORT you put in it.

You dont even have to DO anything to maintain a logging streak, other than... logging in. its not based on logging food or any other participation metrics.

I'm confused by your question: you're looking to get a reward for logging in when you don't actually login? Am I missing something?
