Is there a calorie tracking site for kids?

I am wondering if there is a site similar to this for kids. I love all the info MFP tracks. I want to track my son's eating habits for a few days here and there. Not because I want to try to limit his calories or anything, but because I want to see his micros and be sure he is getting enough.

A little backstory, my son is 6 and has Aspergers as well as ADHD and sensory processing issues. He has always been in a high % for height and a low % in weight, to a point that I even took him to a pediatric dietician once. Then this year, kindergarten was going horribly so I made the decision to start some meds trying to keep him in public school. The medication was making him SO HUNGRY and inactive. He packed on pounds, quick. Last summer he was a kid that could run laps around me and not break a sweat, this summer I couldn't get him to walk down the street without complaining he was tired. So about a month ago I took him off the med and he is back to his over-active self, taking the road less traveled but he also isn't eating much either. He is dropping the weight really quick. The dietician we saw last summer insisted that because he is growing, he is getting enough of everything and not to worry. But I can't help but wonder if he really is getting what he needs now that he is losing, even though it is what he gained.

Does sparkteens have a sub section for younger kids?

Or perhaps there's a nutrition app for kids with autism that would work?

There isn't that I know of. I would just log his food under an account of yours some days. That would leave you unable to track what you're eating though. Ahh, I see the problem now. How about you open up an account on sparkpeople or caloriecount (other calorie counting websites) or even another account on MFP (if that's allowed?) and log his food intake there? Just have the account be under your name, that's all. :)

We just created another MFP account for my 12 year old. She was interested in trying MFP too. All you need is a different email to set up another account for your son. My internet provider allows 5 different emails for our family, so that was no problem.

Use the database on here to keep track in a,notebook.

An account on here wouldn't work as you have to be over 18 so MFP recommended calories would be way out.

ETA: find out what your son needs on a daily basis from your doctor/dietician.

My boyfriend has ADHD, I find that with a healthy diet he calms down. I have a diet plan I found on the internet and its worked great for his hyperactivity. Lots of vegetables and protein. If he has to have sugar its from fruit and nothing else.

I use this for my kiddo. Not as awesome as MFP, but geared towards little ones.
