@Teresa502 I hope you are feeling better. I think running to the bathroom counts.

Congratulations @sweetdaisy13 on beating your 100 mile goal for the month!

@shanaber It happens that way sometimes. You have a great run and then one that isn't so great. Hopefully Friday will be better. So glad you are released form PT!

    76.55/80 miles

Made several phone calls regarding my cousin this morning and then went out for my run before having to go to work at 1:30. Today's plan was for a foundation run, all easy pace. I tried to keep my HR below 153. It did go above, but the average was 151, so I'll take that. My effort did feel easy, but I felt like I was running faster than I did. Somehow, my subconscious knew because I told myself to not be surprised if the first mile was 14 minutes. Sure enough, when Garmin beeped, it was 13:57 min. I just have to trust that these slower runs are really good for me in the long run. (figuratively and literally)

Oh, btw, my cousin is gong to be moved into a geriatric psych unit temporarily, in order to tweak his medications and evaluate him with the goal to get him back to assisted living.

@katharmonic Way to time your run perfectly! I think you have done great this month. Being healthy is much more important than 100 miles!

Oh no @rheddmobile ! I hope you are feeling a lot better by tomorrow. There is a stomach bug going around at daycare. Maybe that is what you had.

I’m sick! I did my usual weekend 5k on the railroad access road, nice run, did about half my lifting the next day and started feeling so chilled I took my temperature and it was 101. Next morning my stomach started freaking out and I spent Tuesday alternating hiding under the covers and running to the bathroom. So no run. Today my temp (and heart rate and blood glucose which were both way elevated) are back to normal but I feel shaky bad. Hoping to feel better tomorrow.

My husband had a less severe version of the same thing so I’m thinking we ate something. Could be Covid breakthrough but seems unlikely it would hit us both the same way with us both being fully vaccinated.

    Feel better!

Congrats on hitting your 100 mile goal @sweetdaisy13

@shanaber I'm sure it was just a case of "this run must suck because the last one was awesome". It's a real thing, or at least it should be recognized as such.

Excellent run timing to avoid that rain @katharmonic

Hope you feel better soon @rheddmobile

Thanks for setting up the new thread @Scott6255
