Does anyone here use the echelon fit app ?

Hi, so due to limited space in our house I ended up buying one of the flex bikes from fitnation. I love the bike and honestly I think it's worth every penny, I did sign up for the echelon fit app which has some great classes and rides. My problem is that in order to see your heart rate and stats as you're writing in the echelon fit app you need a heart rate monitor. I bought a brand new echelon heart rate monitor that goes across your chest and I cannot get this thing to connect to the app to save my life lol. I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue? Thanks
