Introducing Myself

Hello! I have been a member of Fitness Pal since 2012 but have not really utilized it as I should. Today is a new day, and I am ready to get to work and finally meet my goals.

I currently weight 219.5 and have set a goal of 150 for myself. I am 62, almost 63, and I want to know how it feels to be at or near a normal size as I have been very overweight most of my life. I had gastric sleeve surgery in February and have lost 20 pounds so far. It feels very good, but I have a lot of work to do to keep it going.

I have started exercising and am feeling stronger. At first, I was not too motivated but am getting more excited about it all the time. I love to play tennis but have not in over 20 years. Hopefully, I will be able to get out on the court and hit balls again. I also love to bowl and want to do that again soon.

I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands. It was fun at first, but I want to be more active now.

I am looking forward to being a part of this community, learning from others, and meeting my weight loss goals.
