Hello, thanks for reading my post. I have not been able to cut my hair and over a year, and I've gained probably 30 lb since the start of the pandemic.

The pandemic hair is dreadful isn’t it My last cut and colour was in Feb 2020! When I look in the mirror my gran is looking back at me! Thank g*d whoever invented hair colour!0

Hi! It is definitely rough.
I was already the hair cutter in my family so that part didn't affect us as much as others. If you're a woman and usually wear your hair long (past your shoulders), I have learned a lot from YouTube tutorials on hairstyling and can now do several very nice but simple updos, and I've learned a couple fancier braiding styles. I suppose a man could do these too with long hair, but many of the styles have a distinctly feminine look.
I would bet there's videos on cutting/trimming shorter hair too, but I can't speak to those. I mostly use clippers for the men and boys, and I know a few men who will use them on themselves too.0
