Time to give it a go!

New MFP member here, UK based.
Was on the dreaded WW for around a year. Lost quite a bit, but no true results.
Have started working (remotely of course) with a trainer on a programme - he's asked / recommended I use MFP for tracking diet, etc. 1 week into new plan - working out 7 days a week at home.
Let's see where this goes! Positive and hopeful!

Way to plan! Welcome to MFP. I’m impressed your trainer recommended it! I was sent here by my dietician, and in all honesty, it was the single best piece of advice she gave me. Besides “You need to eat more!”
Be patient. Know that your weight will yo-yo for the first couple of months as your body adjusts, you familiarize yourself with new habits, and your body retains and then releases water weight caused by your new exercise regimen.
Use these forums to ask questions, learn, cry, and we all whine here once in a while. It comes with the territory.
But above all, weigh your food accurately, log honestly, and remember that patience is a particular virtue during weight loss.0
