Create healthy habits buddie. Takes 8 weeks!

Hello! I am new here and basically joined because of these chats.
I am having a lot of motivation problems and I would love to have someone to whom report or help each other motivate.
My idea routine:
-crossfit 4 times a week
-hiking 3 times a week.
-running 3 times a week.
I know it sounds like a lot but I have done that in the past. Now I am in one of those post breakup loops where I am only putting weight, feeling bad for that and stop exercising and snacking a lot in my couch (I am an emotional eater).
The hiking part is the only one I religiously mantain... thanks to my dog! :)

I need to lose 20lbs, but what's more important, I need to create a healthy habit. They say it takes 8 weeks to create a routine, what's your healthy routine and would you like to help each other for the next 8 weeks to be that person we want to be? 😊💪🏼

    Hi Jarcom,

I am newish to MFP and looking for that accountability and motivation as well. I was doing a similar amount of activity to what you are aiming for but have had surgery recently and am currently only able to walk... It is driving me nuts and instead of walking as much as I can I have given up and am just sitting on the couch eating crap.

My initial fitness goal is to just walk every day and rebuild my strength up so when I am allowed to do more I am as ready as possible. I am using the Intro to Macro Tracking plan for diet, so my goal is to complete my daily tasks on that and stick to my calories.

I lost 40kg (88lbs) before my surgery, gained back 10kg (22lbs) leading up to my surgery. So now I have about 15kg (33lbs) left to lose to get to my goal. Would love to lose 5kg (11lbs) is the next 8 weeks...

I'll start adding stuff to my page too, sounds like a great way of not feeling alone through the journey!
I hope you get better soon from your surgery
