Smart food scale that syncs with MFP?
The Wife brought up a good question and I can't seem to find anything; Is there a food scale that sync's with MFP? I know there are plenty out there that sync to proprietary apps, but all I've found is that some of those apps sync w/ Google Fit, which in turn has limited support into MFP(nothing pertaining to food weight). Are there any that have a direct sync w/ MFP? Any info is appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks!

I'm not aware of a food scale that does that, and honestly the MFP database would need to be massively overhauled for a device like that to work how I think you're envisioning it - I think you're picturing a scale where you put, say, an apple on it and then that apple is automagically logged in your diary, yeah? Maybe you'd have to pull up the entry for the thing you're weighing in the app first, and then it would automagically fill in the serving size with the weight in grams? The database has too much garbage in it to make that any faster or more useful than you "transmitting" that data with your eyes and thumbs.0

I was thinking more along the lines of the scale connecting tying into the app via BLE from the phone, you select your food and then weigh it and it imports the results. Basically all the same steps people take to log their food except the weight would be imported for them. Thank you for the feedback!0
