Family together!

Hi guys! I feel that kids now in days are not getting enough exercise. I want to show my kids a healthy life style. There is obesity on both m husbands side and on my side. WE want our kids to know that weight is a number and it is about being fit and not thin. I want them to make better choices in food and exercise. I dont deny my kids food, snacks but I give them the nutrition facts and let them chose. I am proud that my kids now would rather have a cutie versus a bag of chips. don't get me wrong they can have chips and we have them in my house, but they do not disappear like they once did. Cuties are another thing, lol. But this is why I chose to do this as a family versus just myself. Before doing this myself was hard because I would make food for them and then eat something totally different. Sooo hard to lose that route. but I slowly started substituting for healthier items and now we are all getting healthy and making smart choices. It doesn't just end with school teaching we as parents have to set the example.
